Short learning trips for ages 4 to 8

01 · Islands

Each subject is an island

Number Island holds maths. Word Island holds English.

02 · Places

Each skill is a place

Counting Station, Library, Carousel: each place practises one skill. A new place wakes when your child knows the places before it, so there is always a clear next step.

03 · Trips

Every trip has an end

Ellie plans each trip from what your child needs next and what is due for review. You choose five, seven or nine stops.

After the last stop the trip is done. The app does not start another one.

04 · Stars

Stars show what is secure

One star when your child can do it alone. Two stars in different games and pictures. Three stars when they still know it after a break.

Stars never go down.

1. Can do it alone
2. In different games and pictures
3. Still knows it after a break

05 · Review

Skills come back before they fade

After practice, a skill comes back for review: the next day at first, then after a few days, then after a week or more.

Its place shows Play again, and the next trip includes it.

1. Next day
2. A few days
3. A week or more

06 · Voice

Made for children who are still learning to read

Every instruction is spoken. Children tap, drag and sort pictures. Hear again repeats the instruction at any time.
